  2. It’s 2 of big onions.
  3. It’s 1/2 kg of green beans.
  4. It’s 1 tsp of salt.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of cumin.

Rice with Beans (رز بفول) (Vegan, Vegetarian) step by step

  1. Wash and soak the rice.
  2. Slice the onions and fry them.
  3. Once the onions turn pinkish, add the green beans and sizzle for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add water and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the salt and cumin and boil till the beans cook.
  6. Once cooked, add the rice, cover with water (two fingers above ingredients) and bring to a boil.
  7. Cover the pot and let it cook for 10 min (till the water evaporates).
  8. Turn off the fire, add a dash of olive oil, stir.
