Korean Onion Bread step by step
- Sift 2 cups of all purpose flour..
- Add 2 tbsp of sugar, 2 tsp of dry active yeast and 3/4 tsp salt..
- Add 3 tbsp butter and 3/4 lukewarm milk..
- Mix everything gently and knead the dough..
- Knead dough for about 10 minutes or until surface of the dough becomes smooth and gets a nice elastic texture..
- Form into a ball and place in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap..
- Leave in warm place such as an unheated oven with light on.Let dough rise for an hour or until it doubles in size..
- In separate bowl mix remaining ingredients. 1/2 cup bacon, 1 cup onion, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and jalapenos for a little kick (optional).
- Add 2 pinches of ground black pepper to mixture..
- Now roll the dough into a 12 x 10 inch rectangle..
