- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Preheat 8 inch cast iron skillet on stove till water dances on surface.
- Melt butter in skillet.
- Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
- Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Blend wet and dry together til just blended…..will be a little lumpy.
- If too thick, add a little extra milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, stir till moistened.
- Pour mixture into hot skillet.
- Using an ovenmitt, put skillet in oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Or until toothpic comes out clean when inserted.
