  3. Prepare 8 of oz. Mottzarella Cheese, shredded.
  4. You need 3 of fresh Tomatoes, sliced.
  5. Prepare 8 of + or - Garlic Cloves, chopped.
  6. Prepare 1 of tsp. crushed Basil Leaves.
  7. Prepare 1 of Salt and Pepper.
  8. Prepare 1/4 of cup Olive Oil.

Especially this veggie loaded white pizza. I know it’s Monday, and Monday is supposed to be about healthy eating and all, but let’s be real. This pizza was inspired by peperonata, which is an Italian bell pepper and herb sauté. It’s basically just bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, simmered in.

  1. Preheat oven 425°.
  2. Spread dough on large pizza pan, let rest 10 mins., and spread to edges.
  3. Spread ricotta cheese on dough.
  4. Top with shredded mottzarella.
  5. Place sliced tomatoes over cheeses.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped garlic.
  7. Add basil, salt, and pepper.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil.
  9. Bake 425° for 30 to 35 mins. until nicely browned..

Like my grandmother taught me, I love using fresh, simple Spread over crust; top with roasted tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. My family is a fan of white pizza. We have also done this with roasted garlic as well. Myself, I like a white pizza with garlic inufused olive oil and then topped with tomatoes and veggie/seafood toppings. I’ve been known to sport a pie with a white wine butter occasionally, too.
